Travel Back to British Columbia
March 23-25, 2023 On March 23rd we traveled by cab/private car to Hermosillo. Over the previous week, we had become good friends with the woman who worked in the marina office. She had a nine-month old daughter, and the woman absolutely loved getting to hang out with Falcon. We stopped in to see her most days. She had kindly arranged for someone she knew to drive us from Guaymas to Hermosillo. So, we thankfully avoided the hassles of catching a bus, and we enjoyed the scenic drive and ease of getting dropped off at our hotel. Our hotel was not as relaxing as we had hoped it would be, as it turned out to be quite noisy both in the daytime and all through the night. Nonetheless, after being in the boat on the hard with no running water, we relished being in a large, open living space and having hot showers.
